Anyone try the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec's? I'm looking for something in the OEM sizes for my '08. I especially need something fairly good in the rain, as I'm in south Florida, and summer thunderstorm downpours are basically a daily occurrence. They're ranked third in the Tire Rack rankings, but with many more owner-miles reported than the top 2.

I've run the 615k's and the RE-11's. I like the feel of the RE-11's, but the grip of the 615's is really good. They don't fall off away the old one's did.

I think the RE-11 is a better tire all around. Much better feel and feedback, grip was a knat's *** less, but they were both new when I compared them.

The Direzza Star Spec was a bit like the old 615. It would not be my first choice.

Star specs are excellent and well priced. Not sure how one can compare the old 615's to star specs.....not a close comparison at all.
