Yep, I've read that, it was a really good article. I was just curious to where he mounted it in the Z, and what size (1, 2 or 3 quart). I was planning on just the 1 quart, as I don't know how much extra oil can be in the system before it becomes an issue.

GrandAm350, any further info/advice you can offer would be much appreciated.

I have not installed the Accusump in the new race car yet...but will over the winter. Most likely the Accusump will go way back into the rear hatch area with the Diff Cooler plumbing...mainly to keep the heat away from the driver.


Note: Mine is a 3 Qt and I use an electric switch...

If you use a manual switch/valve, the accusump unit has to be mounted close enough for you to reach it every time you start/stop the car to turn it on/off. That is fine/no problems...except for the heat and the hassel.

BTW: I think you should use the 3 Quart unit....at least a 2 qt.
