Right now the Oil Cooler sits in the bottom left bumper opening, I'd like to shift it up, and add brake ducts.

Something like this?

Thoughts on drilling holes into a perfectly good bumper?

I'd either get one of the Z ducts and mold it in there, or buy an OTS duct. If you go with holes or an open square, maybe you'd want to consider a matching one on the other side for symmetry.

Yeah, good idea. Best to push or pull you think?

This too, get ducts to even it out.

Hmmm...

http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/big...asp?RecID=1157 is getting cut into my new Nismo bumber before i mount it. The oil cooler is being relocated to the pass side where the washer tank usually is. I don't want it in front of the radiator anymore.

The fan I have is a pusher...so that is what i am using

Likely that is best is a lower air pressure area.

I still hold on to the thought that my car could be 'turned back', as seen by my interior sitting in my spare bedroom still, but I know deep down that its a one-way trip.

The lines are a little blurred for me, as I would drive a race car around town if it had plates. If all the tracks shut down tomorrow though I would sell the car the next day.

Hang it from the wall and tell her it is art....then remind her that art is in the eye of the beholder....then prepare to sleep in the extra bedroom staring at the bumper on the wall....

I am trying to keep the street/track car perspective since I don't have a truck to haul the car and still enjoy driving it to work sometimes. It is tolerable with the 3" single exhaust, GT diff, solid diff bushings, and coilovers. I might do racing seats and still call it a daily driver. As mentioned earlier, once the cage goes in, it's all over. Then it comes down to cost vs. benefit. After nearly $50K invested, does it really make sense to drive it once or twice a month? I think I can throw in a fire system and seats and still have a DD. Beyond that, no street use.

I bought mine to be a track car, it took me a little while to get it there. BUt as my skill improved I modded a little more, really grew into the car.

it was hard for me to keep my z clean as a shop car and a time trial car so i just bought another shell and built it as my dedicated track car. this is what it looks like now.

that car looks sweet. Piks of said cage DJ?

I have a little one on the way and Thank God my gf said no you cant get rid of it. So im thinking about buying a cheap DD(like civic 4 door) and turning my Z in a COMPLETE track car. Idk though. Prob wont ever have time to track but would still be at blast on the street
