TTB Autobahn
Ran my First TT session in the Kronospark/OS Giken 350z this weekend at Autobahn. Pulled the win on Saturday in off and on rain/almost snow. Made the right call on slicks and jumped the field in one session. Sunday the track was GREEN and getting faster every session. I couldn't stay for the last session (which I knew would be quickest) because I had a flight to catch so we tried to lay it down on the 2nd to last session. My Incar GPS lap timer had us quick enough to win but the Transponder battery died and we didn't get any official lap times... DOH! The final session was faster and we got jumped while I was on a plane. Anyway good fun, expect to do some more midwest events in the car. We need to make it a bit quicker. We've got about 8 points left to use in B.
Mods
Kronospark 2.5lbs Battery
OS Giken Close Ratio Gearbox
OS Giken LSD
OS Giken Twindisc 150mm clutch
AST 4100's
H-sport bars
DIY intake
DIY rear muffler removed.
Hoosier R6's.
MOV editors cost to much (ie not free) so here is the whole video from the final session we didn't get a time on. The last two laps are 1:37.5's (which all day was a 1/10th slower then the track was getting my times) on my timer.
Fast Forward to about 4 mins.

Never had the S2000 or the TTC Mini at Autobahn (I live in florida). The Mini was a good deal faster then the Z in a straightline even in C trim, I don't think we've got the Z lap time wise up to where the Mini was so we've got some work to do still. We did a 1:40 last year there on Street tires and before the AST's on the Z, but it felt like the track had a bunch more grip last year. I don't think the times are very good for a comparison because the 3 times I've been to Autobahn the grip levels have been so extremely different. We're not done sorting the AST's yet so the spring rates are getting changed. IIRC were 700 front and Rear now. Every session we made changes the car got faster and better, we just ran out of sessions. I love the AST's, I have them on the Mini, my STU S2000 and we put them on the Kronospark Z. I pulled Moton's off the S2000 sold them bought AST's and used the difference to convert the car from T3 to STU.

I run 5100's on the Mini and 5200's on the S2k. So far they are great shocks. Can't fault them. I know on install we had some issues to get sorted because I believe we were the first set. The Tranny was also a bit of fun with all the changes internally over the years on the transmissions.
