Default OMP Seat Rails

Ok guys... I'm looking to start casually racing as I finally became a NASA member and theirs going to be 2 events I can enter. I'm not looking to get my licenses in the Z right away as I'm getting a MKV VW R32 so I'll use that instead. I still plan on doing some performance driving in the Z at a later time but not right away b/c the Z is getting some mods and I don't know if the car will be ready in time. The R will stay unmodded aside from brake pad upgrades(comes with 4 pots). I'm getting a set of OMP seats from Adam at Z1(For the Z) and when I went the OMP site, the sliders are not FIA approved. I'm aware that if you have a stock car than your going to pass inspection with no problems whatsoever and whatever you add(Roll cage, Seats, and etc) have to meet the sanctioning body's regulations. So my question... will I fail inspection if I use the sliders in HPDE 1?

You should be ok if you are just doing HPDE. It's when you start doing W2W is when they start checking that stuff.

Thanks for the info... I just don't want to buy something that is going to limit myself in the future.

As you know, best thing to do is read the rule book for the organization(s) you want to run with. I don't remember seat rails needing to be FIA approved when I ran SCCA but that was a while back.
