Default Black Friday Buttonwillow Track day pics

Awesome event from Bob's Dount Track day last friday, had a blast getting chased and *** kicked by Scott's Green Machine who ran a 2'02" with street tires!

My car broke down due to fuel rail cracked after 3 sessions and only able to achieved 2'05" with street tires. We had total of 5 350z plus 3 GTR (1'56" White GTR with street tires) vs lots of fast s2k LOL.

Next events for us is Dec 26 and Jan 22, see my signature for link.

Great day and fantastic event as always! Those RS3 tires are amazing, though they're no Hoosier! I just couldn't find that sub 2-minute lap (2:01.1 best). Stupid TPS (throttle pos sensor) failed, which ruined my last chance (1 hour session) to get there! Any of you trackers out there have an extra!

Why do you need TPMS on your track wheels ? The Z is not like a vette that goes into limp mode if they are not working. My track wheels don;t even have them installed.

Sorry, was a quick mis-type. The throttle position sensor failed, not the TPMS. It's part of the throttle body, so I need a reman TB or find one from a part out. Patrick may have found me one already though - score! This sensor will definitely be on my spare parts list for the race car, as there was no way around it. . . that I know of at least.

Thanks! If the Z only had 20, 30, 40, more rwhp, it'd be a true GT-R contender! It was a great day until the very end. Hope to see you there sometime (I'll be there again ALL weekend this weekend for Lemons!).
