I just salivate at the thought of how much grip a 285 width tire would give you. I am maxed out at 225 (street tire) on my SSM Miata.

285's are for the weak! 315's on all 4 or bust.

Get yourself a 350Z and we can talk. Until then you are just another 17 year old begging mom and dad for a RSX.
Really??

It was an honest question.

I think I know the answer ( No) -- but are the SPL front upper control arms legal in BSP?

No.

Race tires are allowed in stock classes but spherical bearings are too fast/hard core for street prepared.

With V6 torque and a decent street tire selection, I was wondering why the BS leader board is not littered with these instead of S2000s.
This forum is littered with 17 year old punks who do not drive a 350Z, but see some need to visit here and bash the Z.

If you want a SCCA competitive 350Z, buy one, modify it and drive the shiite out of it.

I think the Z can really be competitive in SSM...

HAHAHA I'm sorry, I couldn't keep a straight face typing that.

Thats because they've been brainwashed by the bs that a car must have 8 degrees of negative to be cool and unless it's running a vtec, 1/2JZ, RB or a boxer the car is instantly horrible.

Yeah you think? I'm just getting close to local ASP eVOs now with my 370z in street legal XP trim with 400 WHP. essentially my car is asp trim with supercharger and decontented area behind seats. clear it's a HP issue. Bringing 370z to ASP with EVOs is like bringing a cavemans club to an automatic weapons fight.

350z in BSP is way to go. You at least have a chance against the S2000. Just pray for course that bogs them down in 2 nd gear. Lol!

The Nismo (370) is in a different stock class, but IIRC it's in BSP with the 350Z

I don't know how it will respond to SP mods, but I think it's considerably better than the 350Z in stock trim. (Better than the Nismo 350Z too)
Nope they threw all 370z in ASP. The 370z is definitely faster than 350z. Much better torque curve but it's no match for ASP EVO. ASP has become almost a spec class for turbo cars. Either lightweight Solstice GXP or Evo.

I think a well setup 370z nismo might do well in BS. With bigger front sway, nice shocks, I suspect it would do ok.
