Default NASA TT Coilover help me

To stay in my class, I'm looking for a 3 point coilover (yes I know the spring adds 2 more). That means it can't have a piggyback resivoir and it can't have a shaft diameter 40mm or more.

That eliminates the bilstein b16 pss9/10 and it's close relatives. Eliminates KW clubsports and v3. I was originally looking at those.

So far my front runner is the tein type flex because I know it has a 22mm shaft.

Anybody know the shaft diameter on the tein mono flex? Looks beefy, but can't find hard specs. If its under 40mm, it's my new front runner.

JIC is coming out with new not quite ready stuff. The HKS, eibach, buddy club stuff I just don't personally know any serious racers that use it. Same w buddy club, Megan, bc cheapie stuff.

Anyway, if somebody has a mono flex shaft diameter measurement for me or a suggestion for something I may be overlooking, I'd appreciate it.

Double Koni's. The 8242's have a small shaft. It's the same as the OTS yellows.

I'd rather campaign an event or two on stock shocks and get better components.

I use motons (now owned by AST). I am almost positive the ast's will have a larger shaft.

TCK's are Koni 8242's. Unless he gets very lucky in the marketplace both will hard too find. Neither have been in production in the last 5 years (unless you can get Nissan Motorsports USA to send you the springs).

Yes, trying to stay in ttc. Have 255 direza, LSD, plenum spacer, sways, 9 pts by my calculations. I was wanting adj upper arms 4 pts and cheapie coilovers and springs, 5 points. Total 18.

I could do a nicer coilover w springs, 9 pts, skip the arms, the 1" drop will get me maybe -1.5 camber, not ideal.

I could do stock sways and just beef up the spring rate in the back, kinda makes sense, then I could do nice coils/springs and arms.

Or drop the plenum spacer?

Decisions. Ha.

Momma always said, if it sounds too good to be true....it probably is.

Are you trying to be competitive? You won't be on star specs...assuming a strong region.

IMO drop the sways and plenum spacer. Run offset bushings in the front arms. Should give you extra points to run 225 A6's on a 9" wheel.
