Just came across this, looks interesting. Wonder if I could remove all the padding from my sparco pro 2000 and attempt this:

I've helped do that once. They leave a few items out.
THIS IS NOT A ONE MAN JOB!
1. Its very important to position the bag correctly in the seat for step 2. The bag needs to overlap the seat edges with the driver in place. If it goes crooked you need to get the driver out and reposition.
2. Draw the outline of the seat edges on the back of the bag when the driver is in place. That will help you position the bag properly in step 7. It also helps to mark the bag on the front side around the driver (shoulder points, butt point, thighs, etc.) to help him quickly get back into position for step 7.
3. You'll need strong forearms for step 5. Two people makes it easier.
4. Step 7 takes about an hour depending on the outside temp. The driver should pee before climbing in.
