The Z1 Motorsports,#23 Nismo 350Z piloted by Brian Kleeman will be action this weekend at the NASA Spec Z shootout sponsored by Nissan Motorsports at Barber Motorsports Park. This should be the largest Spec Z race in the history of the series and we hope to achieve victory. Part of the Z1 staff will be at Barber Fri-Sun supporting the racing effort as well as running several other Z1 development cars and track testing new parts.

Brian Kleeman and the Z1 Motorsports team took 1st place finish in race one, and 2nd place in race two after fighting from the back of the pack this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park. A great start for Spec Z campaign this year! It was a fun fight the entire weekend with some victims including our Nismo. There was some close door to door racing but all doors stayed closed causing some damage and carnage.

Here is the class of Spec Z at Barber over the weekend, the largest field of Spec Z so far!
