Z1 has contemplated the idea of a race team for some time and low and behold an opportunity presented itself. A Nismo 350z found its way into our hands. Between the performance builds, designing and developing new products, and shipping mass amounts of parts around the world, Z1 dove head first into this project. The Z1 Team took charge and implemented their knowledge into the nismo building a powerful, reliable Zcar meeting race specs. The car was complete a week before the first race with very little time to test and tune. The hard work put in by the team members including: Dustin McGehee, Kyle Klessig, Al Cruickshank, Rod Summers, Clayton Farmer, and tuning by Jon Parham payed off. Z1's efforts along with driving by Joe Ippolito gave us a WIN our first time out at Road Atlanta!

Z1 parts are tested under race conditions to meet expectations on the street! Our Z1 370z shown in the picture below describes our dedication to developing and testing our products for consumer performance needs.

The Spec Z National Championships are in 1 month in Utah. September 4-8
The Z1 Motorsports sponsored Spec Z will be competing for the win (FTW).

 

SpecZ runs on 275 BFG R1

Fronts are 18x9
Rears are 18x10

 

That is correct.

 

 

Most Spec Zs running the RPF1 use 18x9 ET35 in front, 18x10 ET 38 in the rear with 20MM spacers all around.

The rears fit fine, the fronts are tight on the fenders with stock upper A-Arms, but it works fine now that we can run some camber.

 

 

 

Z1 Motorsports’ 350Z will be competing FTW in the NASA Spec Z class at Miller Motorsport Park in Utah. The NASA National Championship presented by Toyo Tires will begin with open practice and qualifying races, Wednesday, and Thursday, followed by the final competition Saturday, and Sunday.
