Default Best OIL to track 350z HR

i went through allot of reading most info for DE engines.

going to track the Z for the first time (no oil cooler), maybe 2 open track days + 5 AutoX days. (will be around 25 Degree Celsius min to 35 Max)

i am using usually synthetics 5w-30 in autoX.

should i switch to Mobile 1 0w-40?

Stay with 5-30. For synthetic oil I hate Mobil, reccomend AMSOIL all the way.

I use Penrite race oil. 0-40 one of the best in my opinion. Only I wouldn't not recommend it for street cars with cats.

My experience with synthetic oil was on my boosted civic, and the only time I burned oil was with Mobil 1. I was at low oil under 2k miles after the change. Switched right to AMSOIL and never burned for the remaining 20k miles I had the car for.

Also heard great things about Castrol and Eneos. I run Castrol non-synthetic in my Z now and no complaints.

Castrol Magnatec 10-40 for me.

After my first engine rebuild, we changed all the bearings etc and I switched oil from Total to Castrol. I warped the head couple years after that so we had to open her up again. We looked at the bearings and other moving parts and they still looked fresh, considering the car went through a number of track days and autox during hotter months.

I would consider slightly heavier oil for track duty in Bahrain. Mobil1 0W-40 seems like a good choice. Extra oil cooler, a deeper pan, and an oil accumulator like Accusump would help. As a first step, take note of oil temperature and pressure during racing.
