This is an awesome build, but I'll be sad not to see it at anymore tours.

So you went into TT3 because you didn't want to deal with the rule-set of something like a TTB build?

I would have to slow the car down to run TTB, which I don't have any interest in. I want the open P/W ruleset. Current track record at Summit is 1:18.7 from this weekend. I want to get the car down to 1:20 on NT01's over the next couple of trips...then go back to my old friend Hoosier and try and knock a couple of seconds off.

If you are interested in the shock package, I can put you in touch with the builder of my Penske's. I wouldn't have sold them for much less than I got them for anyway...

Made a little progress this weekend. Been busy, so not much to date. Got the car down the point I have been dreading....removing the sound material. Nismo V3 front bumper mocked up and got some ideas for the front splitter. Hoping to have all the sound crap and front splitter on by the time the rear wing gets here (not sure when that will be). Going to hack the front lights up and leave nothing but the front cover (painted). Not sure how much of the wiring harness I will go through at least initially, but I already have bunches of unused connections/wires laying around. Also plan to run a bit of flap outer edge of the fender to keep the air off the tires...

That sound deadening stuff took me many hours, but when all done and cleaned up and painted it looks much better than leaving it there.

I will be re-doing my front splitter as well over the winter. I also want to run a flap along the front side of the fender/wheel well. I thought about using some black abs plastic. Any ideas what you're going to use there?

Aluminum is really easy to work with and simple to bend back, mine take a lot of abuse.
