NASA ST4 for 2017
You won't likely be competitive in st5. You will have a unprepped car thats down on tires going against fully prepped cars built to the ruleset, beating out the miata's, S2000's and twins that will hound that class is going to be a stretch.
Tend to agree the lighter cars are much more suited for st5 (really all classes). My car runs ptd times at roughly st5 prep, but likely st5 will end up being much faster than current ptd.
Guess the answer is to pony up for aero and gut the car to run at 12:1. Is 2900lb without driver a relaistic target for hr without resorting to carbon bits?
