Car is mostly driven on the street, but will be taking it to a few track days a year. I was looking into bucket seats but my concern is using the oem belt and having it hover 3 in. above my lap. So was leaninf towards a reclining seat.
But then i came across these. Searched and couldnt find much info. But it seems to me these would work with bucket seats.
Anyone have any experience with them?

There are better ways, best I have seen when using an OEM seatbelt with race seat is to buy a new inner buckle that allowes it to be latched inside the seat, not on the outside.
Are these Corbeau belts designed to replace most/all OEM belts...? Seems like it'd be a potentially solid option for the Z owners with slow-to-retract OEM belts if so, and much cheaper than a new OEM piece.

If you want to use an OEM belt and aftermarket seats. The belts must be run in such a way that there is NO contact to the seat itself. The belts must run through the seat holes and over your lap. If the belt touches the seat, it is unsafe.
If your OEM seat has an airbag, you must install a resistor to fool the computer and keep the airbags functional.

Have no intention of putting rollbars, harnesses, etc in the car
I purchased one of these http://www.seatbeltextenderpros.com/...FQxWDQodlDkMJw and put it through the holes in my Cobra Sebring pro.
It is legitimately just a latch and buckle that buckles into the exisiting buckle.
Should not interfere with airbags.
