Dear fellow enthusiasts,


We are fast approaching our final HPDE of the 2020 season at Virginia International Raceway, November 7-8. And boy, do we need it! This is a very popular annual event at a world class race track (3.17 miles of smooth track! and 17+ thrilling corners!) with country club amenities.

All run groups/skill levels are currently open (4-Green, 3-Yellow, 2-Blue, 1-Black, 0-Red), for all makes/models.

Due to COVID-19, we are offering voluntary in-car instruction. Students and instructors that do not wish to risk sitting in the same car with one another are not required to do so. Instruction will be handled via lead-follow exercises for those that do not wish to receive/provide in-car instruction.

This is a HPDE at a world class track. I saw VIR first hand last year at the SCCA Runoffs and would love to attend this event if I weren't halfway across the continent! GLWE

 

I'll be at VIR 2 days before you, for the Trackdaze HPDE event. They run the 4.2 mile Grand Course setup one day (same one R&T uses for their Lightning Lap rankings), and the 3.27 mile Full Course the other.

I thought about making it a four-day extravaganza with both events, but I just couldn't swing it. I've attended Audi Potomac events in the past and they're really well run.

 

How much does the Trackdaze HPDE entry cost? It's expensive when a two day HPDE starts to approach the entry fee for a SCCA Majors race .

 

Not that much for instructors :P I've done the 4 day with TrackDaze and Audi club before, the Grand course is definitely a hoot to try. The only thing stopping me from doing it this year is lack of time and not sure my tires would last 4 days. Got another set but need to order a second set of wheels to put it on.

 

Trackdaze for instructors: Free for taking 2 students, $295 for 1 student. Retail for non instructors is $495.
