i have nismo wheels w/ the recommended tire sizes. heading to fontana on 3/6th.

the thing is, i'm a little concerned w/ how much tread i have left on my toyo t1s in front (245/40). i have my spare track rims w/ toyos also, the rear being 255/45, and the fronts same as my nismo fronts (245/40), but w/ better tread.

since the nismo fronts and track rears have the same rim width, 8.5, i want to run my track rears up front, but the tire size concerns me. or should i just run my track fronts and keep the tire size the same (but 8" rim)? suggestions? will this mess up the vdc? (i'll have it off at the track)

i know i should just take it to a tire shop and have them switch the tires, but i do NOT have any spare time or an SUV to do this. thanks.


cliffnotes: good idea to run 255/45 fronts and 275/40 rears at track?
