good places to buy helmets in Seattle, WA area?
I might be going to a Northwest Alfa Club driving school event in Bremerton in a week... but I might need to buy a helmet. Any recommendations on a cheap SA2000 certified helmet along w/good stores to find one around the Seattle area? I've heard of Speedware in Redmond but don't know any others.
Since no one replied I figured I'll put in my .02

I bought my helmet in this place. The service is terrific, they were extremely helpful on the phone, and I think they have a good return policy (I never needed to return anything there)
I know you should really try the helmet before buying…
But, Bell has excellent instructions on their website on how to measure your head. I followed those to a tee and my helmet was a perfect fit. I got Bell M-2 pro and highly recommend it (I only used it for autocross). It has extra wide eyeports which works really well since I wear glasses. The only thing that I regret is not listening to the guys at northstar and buying M-2 pro versus the M-2. IMHO M-2 pro is way overkill for what I am using it right now. Oh well, learn from experience.
Hope this helps

Speedware is the only place I know with any kind of SA selection. IMHO "Cheap" isn't a good thing to look for in a helmet. You actually only use a helmet once, but if you have to use it, you'll never regret spending too much on a helmet.
