VIR In June?
Yeah, the patriot looks like an autocross w/ elevation. I don't think I'm going to make that one. The Z likes high speed turns, not low speed ones. I was also wondering where the paddock would be for the patriot course?
what is the deal with the patroit course in september? isnt it really small?? is it worth going?
Patriot course will be a slightly different event for us. Since no one has really run an auto event there, it's kind of a trial run.
It is small, and it is busy - which makes it tough to learn, and tougher to instruct on. So what we're planning is an 'Advanced lapping and Time Trial' event. Actually two events - it will be priced per day. There will be experience requirements as well. We'll be offering three 20 minute sessions + a time trial. We anticipate half the 'non-instructors' to be solo drivers. The time trial is included in the entry fee, though cars still must meet all technical requirements in order to participate in it.
Look for a detailed update post about Patriot course and our other two events coming up.

Rob - come on - it's guys like you we NEED at this event - time trial people.
Keep in mind it's only 1/2 mile shorter than south course. Run groups will be limited to 10-12 cars max. (As opposed to 20+ on south course.)
Don't forget - the north and south course sections are run 'backwards' from normal... uphill through south-course spiral, and downhill on the north course cut-through. So it will certainly be different.
