Check out the SPEED coverage of the WG GA Cup race Sunday 6/27 at 2 PM. Look for BJ's second place finishing 350Evo & the pair of Performance 350Z's to get alot of air time.
The 350Z shuld be unreal at Mid Ohio. The Porsches still have the upper hand as they have years of development in them. Also heard some an interesting rumor last weekend regarding a certin GAC Porsche teams motors..............does a 2001 996 come with 3.6 motor?

Just what I heard.........
The Caddy could be dangerous if it gets out front there with all that torque. It should be a real battle. The 350Z is great through turn one there....I cant wait

It was just from them grinding the concrete down.
The place is really fast and getting faster with the rubber that is being laid down. I am thinking a lap on 1:34-1:35 isnt out of the question for a flyer up there.
The ALMS guys are all under their track records there today.

From what I've been told, when they ground down the concrete, there was tons of grip, but it ate your tires up. Did they add more concrete sealant to the places they ground down? I'm curious to see if the concrete is still slick when it gets wet there...
awesome, its only a matter of time before the Z wins one.
I thought, why do all the 350s have body colored headights??? I HATE it, people (esp Nissan if they are at all funding these cars) need to realise that headlights are a very very good way to identify a car, you see NO other CAR out there with body color matched headlights. I think it takes away some of the character of the car and it certainly takes away some of its identity. Why do they do it????
btw, the winner said something like the 350z had more power, is that right, the Z has more power than the 911???

We are running carbon headlights and not the OEM ones. Weight savings ....+ they cost less when they get smashed.
I need to get some of that money myself!
The Porsche have stright line handling on us still. Murry said that becasue he is trying to amke a political statement to the GA officals.........hopefully they will get a little weight added to them as its needed. The 350Z's are def wroking towards the front.....but the 996's still have legs.

Yea it was pretty obvious the Porsches have a straight line advantage. Z's looked good. Murray def helped Stu around. Some strong Z tracks are coming up Mid-Ohio, VIR & Barber so things are looking good for 350Evo & Perfromance.

Gotta get all the chunks of race rubber removed!
