went out for my first HPDE yesterday. Had a total blast. Long story short, I think my stock pads and rotors (brembo) are slightly glazed.
I've seen some pics here that show rotors and pads that are totally glazed. Mine seem to be a little on the 'blotchy' side. Most of the rotor is clean but there are spots where it seems to be glazed. Hope I've made sense.
Stopping power doesn't seem to be affected at all. I do have some slight squeeking though.
?: will the glazed spots disappear after some more regular use or will I have to take some corrective action? Any thoughts would be helpful.

It sounds like you have some uneven rotor deposition. I don't think the stock pads are aggressive enough to remove that deposition. I usually run a set of Hawk Blue pads on the street for a couple of days or until the brake judder is gone (this is what Stoptech recommends on their tech site, BTW.)
Another alternative would be to get the rotors turned, but make sure they're still w/in spec.
Michael.
