I've been running toyo ra-1's for years. They're more expensive than some alternatives and not the stickiest but offer the best bang for the buck since they last much longer. They are very consistant tires.

 

dave, the RA1's are a great tire... I was actually running the T1-s at buttonwillow. Those don't mix as well with R compounds on the front.

I'm looking forward to trying the new Toyo T1-R, looks to have bigger blocks on the sides, and should be a bit better for track.
