Default trying to choose a helmet.

alright, so i'm planning to pick up a decently priced helmet. the best bang for the buck helmets right now seem to be the

1. pyrotech full face
2. bell sr-pro full face

both are about the same price (~$250), and offer a larger port for a wider field of vision (i wear glasses).

pros:
-pyrotech comes in white or black
-pyrotech has a face shield
-pyrotech is made by bell
-sr-pro made in US
-sr-pro has built in visor
cons:
-sr-pro only comes in white
-sr-pro has no face shield

so it seems like i'm leaning towards the pyrotech.. just wanted some opinions before i buy.

I wear glasses too.

My Bell Sport III works fine for me. Do not believe that a larger eye opening will fit better. I suggest you find a shop that will allow you to try on different helmets before you decide on a helmet.

I wanted to buy a black Pyrotech when I bought a while ago, but they were back ordered for like forever!

PS......if you want a LIGHT helmet, check out an Impact helmet! Not cheap, but MUCH lighter.
