Where the charge pipe goes with the vortech makes it hard because to give more clearance there takes away from ground clearance if I make it deeper/steeper.
From what I have seen adjusting the pipe angle works fine. Send me some pics if you have any of the clearance issue.
Another member said all he had to do was adjust the pipe to fit without issue?
Still would like pics of what it is now, Maybe I can fix it.
We tried to adjust the pipes, but there was still some tapping of the shroud against the intercooler piping.
& sure thing on the pictures. I won't be driving the Z for a few days (week?) as I hurt my back this weekend, but as soon as I'm driving it, I'll take it to my shop & put it up on the lift.
Very interested in this. Just wondering how's it holding up with you guys who r slammed who happen to scrape? I got a G35 slammed n my plastic oem one is kinda ideal cuz it holds up nice to few scrapes but i was wondering if this aluminum one would be able to withstand also or just crack? Can any of u guys slammed chime in on this?
You can use your factory hardware if you have it all, The hardware kit comes with all new bolts and Jnuts for attachment to the fascia.
If you price the OE hardware out at the dealer you will see this replacement kit is a bargain

Plenty of slammed cars running this. It will not crack easily. You may rub less with this compared to the stock piece as this sits a little higher.
I've got one of the V1 on my '08 (I actually bought one of your prototypes, if you recall), and I've got a small problem with it. I thought the front sway bar needed lubrication, so I pulled the panel off to access the bushings. As it turns out, it's the bar itself which is making contact with the panel, and it looks like about 1/2 the thickness of the aluminum is already worn away. Any ideas about a workable solution? Thanks in advance.
