+1 On pics with them installed on the car...at night, showing the light coming through...and during the day while braking.

Sweet write-up....you make it look easy enough for me to do...which scares me

Can I get one that hooks up to a drill? I want to do this mod and I have everything, except a polisher...

A drill would work as long as you have the right pads.

It is very possible to do it by hand...thats how i did my first set. Now i have a Porter Cable as well and will only do it with a machine now as it is MUCH easier.

Also make sure to use a good quality clear so it doesnt crack on you! GRRRR back to sanding for me!

This video convinces me to never try it. But appreciate those who do all the more.

hey toykilla...when you turn your lights on, is the "red" of the tails still visible?

The video is awesome! Great work!

These were not done for my car.. I do them for a small fee and have done various shades from barely tinted to full black out.. The darkest I will go is seen in this video and the light is still easily visible when lit..

Check your local laws though as these are not legal everywhere.

Cool write up. I don't know if I am brave enough to attempt that but it's cool to see how it's done.

How chip resistant is it?

The procedure is the same. You just stop when it is as dark as you desire.

I have never seen these chip and have been doing this for around 3 years.

BTW, it's a lot easier to find the tint when you realize it's actually spelled "Nite Shades." No offense to the OP, it just made it a lot easier to find when I spelled it right .

Great video, thanks to you I'll be doing this probably Tuesday-Wednesday.
