shouldve used more than 1000grit for final wetsand, 1800 wouldve been perfect. and a quick hit with 1800 between last tint coat and first clear coat will make it really perfect.

Thanks for the advice. I have tried it many different ways and have gotten the best results using this method.

can i see how the taillight looks at night with brake lights on? the tint looks too dark..

i mite try and go with an overlay..what shud i tell the guy at tint shop? how much % to make it medium dark...not dark dark or light light..but medium..let me know thanx!

Just use Josh's procedure, but don't spray as many coats of tint.......He did my taillights and I consider them to be medium....

well i cud do that procedure but i dont trust myself doing that so ya..im gonna let a professional do it..so can you tell me what % is for medium tint on taillights?

I have no idea how tint film compares to spray tint as far as "medium" goes. I'm sure a tint shop could give you their recommendation......

try searching for bats overlays, you can get a feel for how dark you want it and possibly just show the pro a pic and hell match it, only diff with the overlay and the spray is the shinyness and the spray is pretty much permanent

edit* and whys it 150mb now?...the one i got was only 60ish....is it longer or just better quality...
