I think it's Orange peel. Usually if you paint gloss, it has that effect. You can try wet sanding with a fine grit sandpaper or wet sanding and then repaint it flat black.

It's on the clear plastic LENS, not the housing.

Default Help please

OK so i haev followed these instructions carefully...i am at the 2nd half of the project of sealing up the headlights..so what i did is i put the gloves/insulation back into the headlight..put the silver cap on it..and baked it in the oven for 8 minutes @250F. I put the wet cardboard in as well...i'm still supposed to do that right? SO when i pull the headlight out..i squeeze it all together but then realize...the projector beam has moisture built up into it..sohuld i just wait till it goes away or have i done something wrong? PLEASE HELP ME!

I don't want the hazing/condensation inside of my Zr.

I have posted a pic the best i can get...let me know -
thanks guys/gals

^I've used wet cardboard more than a few times and it's always worked. Also, the condensation should go away after a little bit.

What did you do differently rgorajia ?

Maybe the damage to my headlight lens was caused by some kind of residue left behind by something these goons polished the inside of it with that reacted with the heat of the HID.

i did mine today... they turned out well heres some pics.. it wasnt that hard.. the hardest part was getting myself to trust them in the oven for 8 mins bc i was scared they would melt..but they didnt.. it was also a PITA to get them unsealed and then sealed again.. the rest was cake..
