Isn't it illegal to have red demon eyes in the headlights? I'm thinking about doing something like this, but don't want to give another reason to pull me over lol
OP...(or anyone else)...how bright are the red demon eyes once you turn your headlights on?? If there's any pics with both red demon eyes and whole headlights turned on, it'd be great!

hey just for general principle, ill leave some info on this thread, necro bump or not.
LEDs w resistors can be found on ebay for about the same price as the pep boys ones the OP used.
Also, the place to ask for questions on this stuff ( that wont cack block you like most of the shops will if you jsut have DIY questions) is www.theretrofitsource.com
Very cool guys. They know alot of details on the STI lens swap, halos, demon eye etc.
They also offer oci butyl rubber glue, which is a big fat strip/roll of the OEM black nasty sealer glue... its like sticky laffy taffy... and you will NOT leak if you use this to reseal. Very cool.
The sell morimoto halos very cheap as well.
I will post a DIY pictorial om my headlight rebuild soon.
I am using an AAC halo ( outside the lens like BMW) that i got stuck keeping .. using it as a DRL... adding these demon eye leds to the projector housing.. and moutning THREE daisychained halos inside the projector to replace my one dim halo... i want BRIGHT.
will have a thread within a week.
