+1. I have the Vorgas. They are styled like the factor seats. They make seatbelt buckle recepticles that bolt right on to the side of the seats. The factory belt buckle snaps into it with no problem...

I'm definitely not going to use red harnesses. You know how streamline and conservative I am, so I was thinking about silver. Then, there's always the timeless Takata classics too.

What do you think?
Can't go wrong with Takata. However, I like to think outside the box so I'd go with Silver Sabelts.

Default Day 2 of Installation...

I completed the installation. One thing I have to bring to everyone's attention. When I went to pick up a few more washers at Home Depot, I realized they didn't carry 7/16 washers. They only had 3/8 washers. I bought the 3/8 washers, believeing that's what I had at the house. When I returned home, I realized I had 7/16 washers. Apparently the specialty hardware store I went to has odd sizes that other more commercialized hardware stores do not carry. No biggie though. The 3/8 washers are just a hair bigger than the 7/16 washers. You can hardly tell the difference. I made sure to purchase the Grade-8 zinc plated washers. They are located in the "specialty" bolt/washer drawer.

Just to make everything uniformed and to give the OEM plastic asthetic cover more room to swivel, I placed the two 7/16 washers on the outside, and used the five 3/8 washers between the B-pillar & Sparco bracket.

Next came the touch-up paint for the logo. You can see there were parts of the aluminum logo that had been worn and the original black paint was scraped off. A black magic marker worked wonders...

Last, I measured out the "mid-distance" of the bar and re-stuck the logo to the bar. Easy as cake...

Finished product! I appologize for the lighting in the pictures. I tried different camera settings to achieve the most pleasant pics I could snap. I'm no photographer though. I did not use a flash either. It made the color contrast look horrible. I someone would like to take these photos and lighten them up with Photoshop, that would be great...

sorry to say.. but WAY better than takata.

they comes in black, red, silver, blue.
and I agree with Junior... go for silver!

(the asm have the inner shoulder belt that in case of impact breaks some stitches and elongates to dont allow you to slip down under the lap belts but makes you rotate toward the interior of the car and they came in a road legal version with a big red button to release and the racing version.)

Thanks for the write-up, it will come in useful this weekend -- I just bought a sparco bar from Tac-M. I'm going to try one change to your write-up - instead of the washers, I'd like to find one "thick" washer/spacer that is the same thickness as 5 of them. I remember my SPL endlinks came with a few aluminum spacers that you don't always use. I'm not sure if they are the right size, but if not, I should be able to buy them somewhere. Does anyone know what kind of locale store I can buy aluminum spacers?

So the sparco bar does not use any additional bracing to keep it from bending up or down?
