side lights stay on and blink
This is what I would do, check the light system on the car (front lights) and see if the lights stay on and also blink, if YES, then I would locate the correct wire and use that wire for the side blinkers.
It will work aswell.
I also believe it`s a great mod for our 350z.

ohh!my girlfriend and i had been going out for a year and a half and we were so in love. but then like two weeks ago she meets this guy at a party and starts to text him a lot. eventually she finds out that he likes her and she really likes him and she thinks she wants to go out with him. we went through this whole week where she decided between staying with me and wondering about him, or leaving me and going with him. i eventually manned up and told her she needed to get this guy out of her system or she would always wonder, so she dumped me on tuesday, and its now saturday. it hurts so bad i cant stop thinking about it. i have talked to her and she says she still loves me very much and she plans on getting back with me. she even says she misses me a lot. problem is that it still hurts that she left me. every time i think about her with him i get sick. shes actually on her first date with him right now. what im asking is is there anything i can do to get her back faster or at least help the pain? and i wont get another girl. im just not ready for that. i want her back and thats all there is to it. What about??
Does anyone know if these emblem markers can be put on an 07 350Z?? Seems like I am only finding them for the 370 and from what I understand they don't fit on the 350. This true?

How do you detach the mail connector on the emblem? It seems like it is on there pretty good. Do you just cut it off the plastic connector? What should I use? Small saw?
Also, what guage wire and tap connector are used to connect to the turn signal wires? The turn signal wires are thicker than the wires on the 370 sidemarker. Thanks.

Nevermind, I figured everything out. The male connector can either be dremeled off or you can get a thin piece of metal (I used an old dip stick) and pry the connector off the plastic prongs by inserting it into the open slat on the front of the male connector.
The wire guage of the sidemarkers is 20. The wire guage for the turn signals is 16. So I bought 16 guage wires so when I t-tapped them together with the turn signal wires, they would match up nice in the t-tap. Since the sidemarker wires are spliced, twisted, and soldered together, it wasn't all that necessary to have the same guage wire.

How to make it stay on and blink
Here's a circuit I drew up to make the lights come on when the running lights/headlights are turned on, plus blink with the blinker. (Note: The diagram shows the blinker and running light wires being used twice. Do not tap into the factory wires two times, just make the second tap on your wires, or wire from one relay to another.)
When the running lights are off it will be off, but it will turn on when the blinker is on, in other words it will be in sync with the blinker and act like a second blinker.
When the running lights are on it will be on, but it will blink off when the blinker is on, in other words it will alternate with the blinker.
Without hooking into the circuitry that gives a signal saying the blinker is on (lever is pushed), there is no way to make it blink in any other combination with such simple circuitry. If someone knows where to get that signal then I could show you the circuit for it, but I don't think it's necessary and this makes for a very simple install, just tapping into the blinker and running light wires, just like the tutorial already has you do.
Enjoy!

i've had mine on for more than a year now... for $70 and your time, IMHO they're worth it. btw, this video depicts my experimentation with LED turn signals...

I just did this the other day. Was pretty easy. Btw, I didn't use the hose clamps to hold the bracket on, on the back. I was able to thread the screws back on... little hands...
Also, I sacrificed one of the OEM fender emblems to use as the template. If you drill through the center dot, on the "Z" that's the exact center of the ring. No need to use another template, after popping that off.
Thanks for the great write-up, OP. Made it cake to do.
