Question Rear Windshield wiper removal. HELP!!!

I unscrewed the nut on the top, the wiper arm simply won't come off.
And if I do get it off, and take the motor out from underneath, what do I do with the hole?

Please don't laugh at me. I don't drive in the rain and rear wiper will never be used anyways, I like the clean look.
Any one done this?

Cool, just be sure to remove the motor too (might as well save a few lbs as well as better aerodynamics).

One concern - does the rear window have a defroster, or is it only the wiper blade?? (I dont have my 04 yet, so i couldnt answer my own question here)

here is a better side view of it.... Now I just got it send it to get it painted! Do you think I could take it to a model shop and bring the touch up paint for them to just air brush it on?...........
(there is a film over the cover, that is why it look a little light blue)

I just unscrews once you have the bolt off. Lift up on the wiper arm, spin counter clockwise. The remove the motor for the underside. There will be a rubber grommet left.

I have some hole covers that I was going to use, but they are not a great fit, so I was looking for a better solution, I think the faucet (sp?) cover is better....

I did a write up on this if you want to search for more info....

I tried to paint it tonight, and I was never good at paint, so I think I screw it up a little. But another idea came in mind, since I'm planning to get carbon fiber front lip, and the side by the window. Maybe I should just use some carbon fiber stick and cover over the faucet cover! I will search couple shops tomorrow to see if they have any CF stick, so I could remove the wiper tomorrow night to test the fitment on it. Will keep you guy an update on it..............

Yes the 04s have the defroster and rear wiper........Cool idea, what a waste having a rear wiper. Everything blows off the back anyway, well I don't have snow down here so maybe that's what it's for.

No problem, whatever i could do to help my friends, I think everyone would do the same! The only thing sucks on that cover is very hard to paint and it's some what a little hollow inside, so if you have something poking at it. you could create tiny dents, So now I'm on hunt for CF sticker to cover that up.... Will update if I find something! :-)

I just removed mine, I live down her in as, and it doesn't really rain. I just took the rubber grommet, and pushed the part that sticks up back done, and put one of the motor screw in there and it fit perfectly.

Hey bro, I love the look of it gone better myself. I like my post above, it doesn't rain much here in AZ.
