Default wheel refinishing

This is my first thread.. Im sure theres something here on refinishing wheels. Just puttin mine up here .. Interested in your comments..
these r the steps i took I think it came out damn well considering that the wheel had that severe curbage all the way around and the factory paint was beat..
1: Sand blasted with medium glass bead media.
2: Ground out all the imperfections on the lip with a DA orbital sander using a medium grit grinding pad.
3: Sanded with 180 paper, then took it down to 320 paper, then wet sand it with 600.
4: Cleaned the wheel with simple green degreaser, then denatured alcohol rub down.
5: Then primed with dupli color self etching primer.
6: hit it again with the denatured stuff.
7: Then hit it with a white base primer.
8: Then about 3 coats of duplicolor gm GOLD.

A final wet sanding with 1000 grit on the lip, clean it with denatured and shoot 3 coats of duplicolor clear.
Lemme know what u guys think. I am impressed that I did such a good job considering I have no back ground in this..
Sorry for the pic quality I was using my bberry...

thanks im actually looking for a powder coater to do them but that sh*t is insanely pricey. I didnt have patience wit the paint so there where some little hairs n stuff that got into the finish and the overspray on the back of the wheel was hard to remove. but its a trial and error thing i guess. Im gonna do the rest of them myself unless i can find a cheap powder coating job here in nyc jersey area

I called TRG COATINGS up here in jers n the guy i spoke to told me atleast $200 per wheel. Seriously thats not in my budget. He advised me to take it to my body shop and have them shoot it. I spoke to the guy whos shooting my car and he quoted me $50 per wheel plus whatever the material costs. All i need is patience and shoot the paint myself. The first wheel i did came out ok jus had some fuzz on the finish. I plan on wet sanding it and doing it again myself. Id rather do it anyway as a sense of accomplishment and the fact that i did it for my own car. I did all the other mods myself but paint is a biatch...

thanks for the comments i re-did the same wheel with straight up rustoleum gold and restoleum wheel clear coat i also pianted the back of the wheel so that took care of the over spray i had.. the clear came out lookin retarded the first time it had dripps on the lipp part of the rim so i sanded the drips and hit it again bad idea so basically now im gonna sand the lipp down to raw metal and just hit the centers and rears with paint n clear. the new rustoleum came out better than the duplicolor and it coated way better and the can was bigger than those little *** duplicolor cans.. all in all the wheel i did looks great now.. ill be finishing the other 2 i have in the next 2 weeks then ill post pix.. im lookin for a front wheel axis matrix 20x9 if anyone here can find one n lemme kno id appreciate it. stay tuned for more...
