even without the tape,... it didnt line up.
Theres was a fractional difference without the tape when I was pre-fitting.
It was THE PIECES that werent cut right and uneven, especially the shifter and center console piece.

I agree.. mine took alot of work to fit..it wasn't fun..but dont let it ruin your mood over it..it can fit.. super glue by the ac ***** fixed mine.. and some light filing made the rest work well too..but as for out of the box satisfaction...yea...it fun.

May not be what you're into doing tho.. I now understand ur comments tho..
The best route is tonester work..no doubt..but its nit cheap..

the cubby lid was mis-cut. after I had it on, the cubby lid wouldnt open. The shifter piece DID NOT sit flush even before the adhesive tape. It was like the molding was off.

All in all, I finally got tired of it pulled out the entire waterfall and gave it some "NightHawk Black" with clear coat and it came out beautiful.

The only pieces I kept that I still have on are the pod covers(which the middle one is a little off), and the door pieces.

I am sad to hear your story. It is so frustrating to deal with cheap shysters...but haven't we all at one timer another? Consider the money spent on lesson learned, and be glad it was $500 and not $5000. (Yuk--reading that back it sounds so airy-fairy...sorry.)

I looked at those pieces on the Evo-R site and thought they looked artificial, not like real CF. I hope they look better in reality. (Yes?)

But we all know now to avoid Jay and Evo-R. Hey Jay, you reading this?

That said, I gotta tell ya I recently got the EVO-R Rear fog Light and I am satisfied with it. But I will not go there again, because of your posts: thanks for alerting us all.
