at it being a pain in the ***...I guess it could be if you dont have all the right tools. Its actually VERY simple IMO. I also have NEVER been disappointed from Autolumination. So that sux for you. That was just a suggestion and this DIY was to show you HOW to do it. Perhaps some of the other places that sell bulbs may suit you. Good luck fixing it, im sure its not that hard..It may be though...for you... and I LOL at your sig.. TT coming soon and you cant change some bulbs..hahaha

Where did you guys order the frosted turn signals? and are the bulbs from autolumination really that much better than the Pep Boys, run of the mill bulbs?

When you say "frosted" do you mean the chrome dipped bulbs? Or is my brain working slowly today...? Lol

Never mind I found them. Does it make a difference if I order the dual or single circuit?

Didn't want to start a new thread but I have had LED's in my headlights for a while and I keep having to replace them no matter where I buy them because the HID heat kills the LED. Is anyone else experiencing this or no where to get LED bulbs that will not go out from the heat of being inside the headlamp?

Thanks

I have never bought from them before. My post was because everything I have been reading from Superbright LED's and others say that HID headlights kill the LED from the heat, which is exactly what is happening over and over again. I found these on autoillumination though and I'm going to try them:

Surrounded by aluminum to act as heat sink so they don't get hot. $20 for 2. Will post results if anyone cares.

So the LED's came today and look solid. I installed them already and will let you know when or if they burn out.

gmueip, where did you buy your chrome turning light and 8K hid light? Does it make your turning signal blink faster than stock?
Pikepeak, let me know how those (194 168 W5W 2825 Supernova Bulbs With Metal Heat Sink) work out for you.
As for the clear stripe that replace the amber one, i found this link to the website that sells it. I'm not sure if they still selling it though
http://www.ricks2k.com/products/350zdiffusers.php

Thanks for all the info guys. Good luck.

Ricks2k still sells them. I bought a set from them a month ago for my 2003 lights before I upgraded to 2006 lights. Output on the Aluminum heat sink LED's are great we just have to see if they can stand up to the heat. Keep ya posted.
