hey thanks. this really works. i did mine today. took me a lil while but thats cuz i didnt take the wheel off or jack the car up. i just turned the wheel as far as it went and i was able to access it. i would suggest taken the wheel off. that would have made it much easier. but it was freezing when i did mine so the jack almost gave me frost bite lol. but reall thanks for the write up. o yeah i used LED bulbs. they are really bright

How are those bulbs working out for you? I bought a set that were similar and they burnt out within two weeks. I suppose they were the wrong voltage/amps or whatever... I don't know too much about wiring/power stuff

Did you get those bulbs from AutoLumination? If so, which ones did you order? There are so many different kinds on that site I don't know what to order.

Also, those bulbs are the same as license plate bulbs... correct?

Ive yet to have any issues with the ones I bought. best part - there is no wiring involved. simple swap..

you quoted me in post 25...those are the ones you should get. If you need to make sure if the lights are same for the license plate. go to sylvania.com and vew the automotive lighting replacement guide. its all there.

I have had mine for a few weeks but have not had time to install them. I also ordered the switchback bulbs to see how they are. hopefully i can get rid of the orange in my 06 lights while driving but have it orange for turns [they get me every year during inspection].

I always hated the yellow hue from the parking lamp.
Now I may finally act on it and make it "right" haha

I'm gonna do the same to mine. LED swap for parking and turn. I have been doing a lot of research on the flasher. There is no flasher on the Z like every other car. On the Z, the flasher is part of the BCM (Body Control Module). The only way to keep the turn signals from flashing fast when using LEDs is to install the resistors they sell. One resister for each LED turn signal. Anybody taken off the rear bumper?

The rear bumper is fairly easy to get off however, mine was a PITA to get back on. Just getting all of the clips to line up and snap together was more annoying than anything. I wanna say there is a guide out there somewhere. While I had it off I replaced all the other bulbs in my taillights just for good measure (and because I didn't want to do it again anytime soon). 05 Taillights.

I didn't install the resistors, my turn signals just blink at an insane pace. However, now that I've been driving with it like that for 6+ months now I'm kinda spoiled. I like being able to hold the signal on for a second and have it blink 4+ times.
