okay so iam new..and iam sure this question has been asnwered, but not sure where to look..

i have a 04 350z nissan track..i want to replace the headlights bc it got some water damage..so just bought new ones.. when i took it to the mechanic he said i have 8pin in there now..and my new headlights i bought are 6pin.. he said i needed a harness or an adapter..

i dont know what harness or adapter to buy.. if someone could tell me what i need..it would be greatly appreciated!!!

the headlights that are in there are halogen i think..iam guessing its stock..
i bought 6K HId headlights .. i dont know if any of this matters

Your Track model came from the factory with HID headlights. The HID's have 8 pin connectors and the halogen lights on the Base models came with 6 pin connectors. Most of the aftermarket lights are for the halogen light models. Your mechanic could rewire the lights to make them work but I would think it might be better to get some correct headlights for your car.
