I love these things they are super white bright which is what I needed as the factory lights I couldnt even see in my car at night when I need to find something. Only problem I have is that the rear light for the trunk doesnt fit into the slot. I think I have a short in my factory wiring so once I get that resolved I will be looking at how to get these things going.

Yup most place the board on the outside of the plastic holder.
