What are the weight savings going from 2004 base seats to your lightest ones?
Stock seats with airbag weigh about 42lbs each with sliders, new seats will weigh about 19lbs for the seat and another 8 for the base. So about 30lbs difference if you do both seats.
reading some old threads on here that the Corbeau FX1 Pro with the Corbeau brackets will NOT fit in the Z. Has this issue been resolved?
(Really want to order these, but need to be sure of fitment and hassle free install )
The problem has been a few folks have had an extra alignment post sticking up out of the floor and some did not. I believe right now the hole is NOT cut for the alignment post. That said, it can be easily drilled out with a hand drill or drill press ... thats if your car even has the extra alignment post. Major thing when installing seats is to never tighten down anything until every bolt is in. Otherwise stuff gets torqued and can make it hard to get certain bolts in.
