Painted Stock Calipers Black on Silverstone Z
A lot of work for such a small difference - but I'm still pleased with the results. The silver/gray stock caliper color is too common. You see it on every car on the road. I wanted something subtly different, but customized. When you get up close an see them, I think it looks really good.
I used G2 and had a lot of paint left over, even with two coats. It was a pain to get the car up on jack stands. I couldn't find very good jack points.
Here's the pics:

The labels say to apply the paint when the temperature is between 55 and 70 (or something close to that). And the label says to let it set for 24 hours.
It was a bit colder when I applied the paint - about 40 - 45 degrees. So I let it set for several days. Luckily I have a company car and I can leave the Z in the garage until the weekend. It seemed that it was "hard and dry" after the first day, but becuase of the colder temps, I wanted to be sure.
