Default S-tune Suspension

I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the S-tune suspension components for the non-VDC cars would void the warranty on cars that DO have VDC. There's a blurb on Performance Nissan's page that says they haven't had any problems with VDC cars, but nothing about the warranty.

I just wanted to stick to OEM parts as much as possible.

Thanks!

Mark

You guys with the NISMO suspension, what is the major benefit from them? Warranty? I want to go with the NISMO but I was thinking of getting teh Eibach Pro-kit with the new Tokico D-spec shocks. The cheapest I have found the NISMO suspension is $1000 brand new on ebay. I can get the Eibachs/Tokicos for about $700 brand new. Are they really worth that much more?

1) the nismo S tune suspension obviously is beneficial since they have a warranty, so that's attractive to many buyers of that setup. The car will also handle well and lower well, withought having issues Albiet that this suspension is not the ultimate in anything performance, it does help, does make a difference, and is a very clean and nice setup.

2)the G35 springs should fit, technically, but the spring rates are all different. THe car won't handle the setup like it should, and the car won't lower as much as it should either.
Especially just for springs, don't do it.
for something that cheap just buy what's meant for your car. Y cut corners for a cheaper modification? Especially on an Infinity....

Will the S-tune take any of the bounce out of the rear-end?

You'll love it. Handles great and is not overkill on ride. I've had mine installed for almost 9 months now.

Very Nice ZBoater! Any personal feedback on the suspension? Does it keep the bounce? (I hope so). Is the drop just right or do you feel it could go a little bit lower?

I absolutely love the S-tune/sway bar combination. The car feels like its on rails. It still has the bounce, but they are shorter and sharper. I had a Miata before, and the one thing I missed was the handling - but not anymore. I make U turns like I'm glued to the road and it doesnt feel like the car's butt is going to fy off.

The drop is not very noticeable. It could go a bit lower in my opinion, but I like it like that so it wont be too hard to get in and out of the car. Im 6' tall, 240lbs, so a low car would be a pain.

Here's my take on Nismo stuff in general.....it fits, it works, it's top quality. In my opinion the peace of mind and knowledge that you are going to have the least amount of problems with Nismo parts on a Nissan vehicle is worth the extra $$$. If the stuff was low quality, I wouldn't get it no matter what, but, in fact, this is some of the highest quality aftermarket stuff made for our cars. The Nismo stuff, however, is definitely geared towards the "street and light track" crowd. It is not hard core race stuff.

Cool thanks for the replies. The NISMO seems to be exactly the set-up I'm looking for, street/light track.

Default s tune suspension

I'd like to install the s tune suspension kit on my 2004 Roadster but have received differing advice-some say the s tune doesn't fit the Roadster. Can anyone say for sure?

Also, Ive been looking at the Hotchkiss bar/spring combo. It's 3 position progressive and a LOT less expensive than nismo (although no shocks included-just bars and springs). Has anyone installed the nismo kit or the Hotchkiss kit? I want to add a suspension package but need help from those who know. Thanks.

ZBoater-checked your photos. Your Roadster looks beautiful. I have a 2004 SB Roadster also. My goal is to have mine look as good as yours.
