Hawk HPS and rain
I have the Hawk HPS setup on my brembo's with slotted rotors and since it has been raining quite a bit here in Cali, I have notice my braking capacity has decreased some. I have to push harder on the brakes to get it to stop vs normal dry weather. Anyone else has this issues with the Hawk pads in wet weather?

it may not be so much the hawk pads...
brake fluid will suck water through plastic... you just lowered the wet tempretur of your brake fluid... Hopefully when you do a couple of hard brakes any water that has built up near the caliper in the brake fluid will burn away...
when this rain stops, i plan on bleeding my lines again...

I have noticed that my Axxis Ultimates do horribly in the morning (when it's cold). I figure it's due to the fact that the rotors and pads are cold and outside their optimum operating temperature. Also, when the rotors are wet, stopping distances are poor. Try running over a deep puddle and applying your brakes. It barely bites.
I have the ATE Blue brake fluid in my car, and usually the brakes are usually warm already. I guess I am just comparing with the OEM brembo brake pads. The bite is definitely less with the hawk pads in wet weather. Am I the only one noticing this or is everyone else not having a problem with them in wet weather. Maybe it's my setup then???
