did you guys use the oem shims on the back of HPS pads?

Default did you guys use the oem shims on the back of HPS pads?

im having horrible squeeking probs 2 weeks into my rear brembo HPS pad install and i even used the disc brake quiet spray which seemed to work for a couple days then the loud and embarassing squeek at low speeds came back.....some people have talked about removing the shim completely ./....what do u guys think?

I say remove the shims, spray the hell out of the back of the pad with the blue disk brake anti-squeak spray. Then put them back in. If it still squeaks after that then you are going to have to face the facts and realize it is your rotors and not the pads.
