Default My alignment after Tein S-Tech

I just got back from Les Schwab to do an alignment and just as I expected. The rears are put back into spec by adjusting the toe bolt. They couldn't do anything for the fronts since it wasnt adjustable. So I got stuck with a -1.6 degrees in the front left. The front right seems ok. The rears was set to a -1.6, which was right in the middle. here is a pic of the printout they gave me with the before and after adjustments.

What are your guy's comments on my printout?

Hey,

Do you have any scratches on the rims after the alignment? I am going to get an alignment soon. I got the hotchkiss springs.

man i just got an alignment with my hotchkis springs, which as far as i know are about the same drop as the s-techs and the guy who did the alignment, who is supposed to be very good (though he works mostly with honda and acura - since actually he works at the acura dealership) couldn't get the rear camber right on either side and couldn't get the rear toe on the right side. maybe i need to go back and tell him to mess with the toe bolt. the way my camber is now my tires are gonna wear super prematurely and that wouldn't be good for my new s03s because they definitely weren't cheap.

my front is basically the same as yours except the camber is off on the right side for me instead of the left.

your alignment is looking good though - way better than mine that is for sure!

I have been looking for springs. I want my car lowered around an inch but .7" might work. How noticable is the drop with the s-tech?thanks mike

The Tein S-Tech's are not real noticeable. It is subtle and not an extreme drop. Search for one of my threads and you will see the pictures of the drop. As far as scratches, there was none. He did a good job and I specifically told him that my rims are VERY expensive and if he can be very careful with them. He did and so did the guys who did my balancing of my tires. I took it to Les Schwab, they are great and people friendly. The whole time I was in the shop, they were talking about my car and the turbos! Which made time go by faster since I am there supervising the process.

I am sure they can fix the rears. The guy loosened the toe bolt and adjusted the toe perfectly to spec. So the rears dont need no camber kit unless your drop is real low.

wats up 350z afficionados,

did you guys have to get a camber kit? i dropped my an inch with tein flex and my alignment is not correct afterwards. shops were sayin that i need a camber kit and cost about $1000-$1500 for front and back... is that right?
can it be align right without having to get the camber kit???
pls. help me with a solution to this issue.
thanks.

the rears you dont need a camber kit only the front. But since you dropped yours 1", I wouldnt know since mine was only .6" with the S-Tech. The alignment took about an hour for me.

Hey CQUENCE_350, Which LES SCwab did you go to? I'm in SACTOWN TOO! I"m getting my HKS coilovers put on by the end of the week or next. I was going to take it to the old G12 on 16th street but I heard from someone that they couldn't get his car corrected enough. I know that Performance Techniques sends their cars there for alignments. I want my car lowered but I don't want to get a camber kit if I don't have to.

Cool....I live right off of Truxel so that's pretty close to me. Performance Techniques used to be called Z Car Specialties and specialized in performance parts for the Z's but has expanded much since then. I think they do body kit mostly now.......haven't been there since I had them do work on my Maxima and that was like in 1988. I know the Owner has a Black G35 w/ Axis Hiro's on it. How much did your alignment run you?
