Lowering with TEINS
lately ive lot of people lowering their car with teins.
so i was thinking about getting one too.
but before that, i had couple questions.
-How much drop can 350Z handdle?
-is my suspension gonna be f*cked up after installing the springs?
-do i need camber and new shock no matter what?

1. How much you can drop it all depends on what size and offset rims you have.
2. Lowering the car with springs will not mess up your suspension.
3. If you get the Tein S or H tech springs you should be able to get the car within specs just by having an alignment done because those springs only lower the car about 1/2 inch. If you plan on lowering it any more than that you will have camber problems. As for the shocks, you can expect better handling with new shocks but they are not necessary.
I have the Tein S-Techs and they are a really good spring, perfect drop and the ride quality is about the same as stock. I am curently using the stock shocks but I will replace them in the future with some performance ones.

I was also considering the Teins S tech, but the only thing I dont like is that they drop a little more the front than the rear (0.7 F - 0.6 R). But right now mi car is already lower in the front than on the rear.

htechs drop the car i think .2 inches.... its not for looks, its for a softer ride without lowering the car. stechs are perfect... they arent expensive, great quality, drop to a very attractive and driveable height.

its a difference of .1 inch, and the car drives better with the drop. i never considered this as a factor when i purchased the springs, and i dont think it is an issue for stech owners

I agree that you should drop the car the same all around over stock.
I have the Tein Flex w/ a 1" Drop. With the overcoils you can set the spring pre-tension to give you more of a soft of hard ride. Yet, if you go to soft with the springs you can bottom out pretty quickly. Great thing about overcoils is you can adjust the dampening and with the EDFC you can do it from inside the car! The overcoils also allow you to drop or raise to a range:

And if you drop more than 6/10 of an inch (over stock)you will need to do Front A-Arms and Rear Camber Arms w/ a professional alignment otherwise you will wear your tires faster and you won't get the full contact patch of your tires.
