Default Just Installed Zeals Coilovers n 19 Inch Rp03

hey guys..
Just picked up a set of Zeal coilovers for my z
Also picked up some rp03's
right now i just plopped on some tires that i had lying around..
so please dont ***** at me...
19x9 +18 / 225/40r19 Michelon Pilot sports
19x10 +22 / 275/35r19 Toyo T1s.

Also just wanted to do a lil write up.
The coilovers are better riding than the 05 z's stock suspension.
And in terms of handling it couldnt of been better.
Even w/ my wonky tire size i barely see any understeer when pushed to the limits.. I tucked the fronts and have a litte bit of a finger gap in the rear.
Just trying to help make the car rotate to circumvent the lack of a wider front tire.

Will post pics up on monday. But yes i love the suspension.. and i highly recomend it to anyone.

Also willing to take anyone for a ride if they interested in picking up a set of zeals cause i am in love.

Good stuff you got there. Do you have any idea of the spring rate?
I would love to go for a ride if I am in L.A.

Zeal function V6 coilover (Monotube construction, adjustable dampner) $2855
Full-length adjustment and height adjustment for separate setting of the height and spring preload
Spring rates 560/448
Stiffer then oem by F+78% R+31%
Transfers +47% roll stiffness to front

Dampners themselves are no doubt wonderfull, but the spring rates are nonsencicle. While the illusion will be one of stability, ultimately it's a recipe for going slower.

Nice setup you got going there. I am in love with the Zeals, but they are soo damn expensive. If I decide to spend the money, I am definately going to pick up a set of these! But, If I can't I am just going to settle for something a bit cheaper. Maybe cusco, HKS, or I might special order a set of kei office coilovers...
Anyways, there is a FAQ/Review section stickied at the top of this forum. I would greatly appreciate it if you could add a detailed review on the coilovers.
Also, I saw in your sig that you have the GP sports exhaust. I used to have one on my S14 and absolutely loved it. I was wondering what the specs where on that one. Pipe sizes, titanium?, weight, etc...
Also, how is the sound? Is there anyway you could get some sounds clips up of that exhaust?

Thanks,
Jon

also, do you happen to have any pics of that exhaust on or off you car? I was wondering how the muffler style is setup.
You might wanna change you sig where it says Zeal B6 to V, as the B6 is a different coilover which I dont thinnk they even make for the Z iirc.
Also, did you get these from AutoRnd? They are great guys over there, and are extremely helpful. If I do choose to get these, I will probably get them from their. Since they are a authorized dealer, you get a warranty. Which is very rare for coilovers!

i would just like to say that.. i will be taking it to an auto-x shortly.. see how i compare to the guys that i were running previously.. and we will ultimately see if i am slower.. or did i gain any speed.

As for coilovers..
i got whatever the 6 was.. ibelieve it might be v6..

And on the exhaust
it is a spec d pro.. i am waiting for it to come in... i am pretty sure i am like one of the first to get this.. so yeah i am pretty excited

those tires look WAY stretched on a 9" wide wheel, extremely low profile as well...good choice on the wheels though.

not that hard, but you can put it on 1-3 and have a very comfortable ride. 6 is stiff, if you hid a lil bump in the road, the kind that are like a smooth pot hole. When you hit those you launch out of your seet practically.

the 225 tires are really strethed out.. =) i like the streched look.. and like i said.. it was the only tires i could find for free =)

also...
zeals ride comfort is great on 1-3..
for daily driving i have it set at 2 front and 3 rear.

i have yet to take it to a track as of yet but i will do so shortly..
i only have 1600 on the motor so i am still trying to break it in.
