mating AP 4-pston with what lines/rears?
I would like some opinions on how to set up AP 4-pistons. Thanks for all the help in advance.
1) what steel brake lines would work best with the AP fronts and non-Brembo stock rears
2) I bought the fronts used and don't know what type of pads/rotors the AP kit comes with; they haven't arrived. Anyone know?
3) I will be keeping the rear caliper set-up but would like to change the rotors/pads. I haven't received the front brakes yet, but they come with rotors/pads, so matching might make sense What rotors would work in the rears?
Thanks!

phenolic,
I have the AP6 up front. Not sure who makes the stock pads but they are dustier than the stock ones. REALLY dusty. I called Stillen and they have Hawk pads for the front AP6 that are low dusting. I will get those next summer. In the rear I have the Stillen drilled rotors with Hawk HPS pads and stock calipers painted red. Works well. My steel lines came with the AP6 for all four corners. I think they are Goodrich lines. Stillen has a set as well. You will want lines with those AP4's. Hope that helps.
My $.02,
Dan

thanks dan,
.02 cents defintiely appreciated. are all steel lines created equal would you say? or is one better than another?
guess you don't have any problem stopping with those AP6?

Checked over the weekend and the lines are Goodridge not Goodrich. Lots of vendors on here have them. Stillen has them as well, under there name. They are probably all about the same. True that, I don't have much problem getting stopped with the AP6's. Now I need a little more get up an go so I have a reason to brake.
