Alignment With Tein S-Tech Springs
I installed a set of Tein S-Tech springs a few weeks ago. I figured they should be broken in by now, so I took my baby in for an alignment. Anyway, They said they got it as close as they could, but were unable to get it within spec. From what I can gather, both rear wheel toe is within spec, but the camber is .1 out of spec. The front wheels are in spec with toe and caster, but out of spec on camber same as the rear. I thought I read that with the small drop of the Tein springs, the Z could be put back within spec. Plus, with the # of times Nissan keeps changing the alignment specs, how do I know they used the most current setup?
If you are only .1 out of spec you shouldn't have any problems with wear. Just remember that the NISMO suspension lowers it just as much as the Tein S-techs and I haven't heard of any NISMO suspension owners having any problems. I've already installed my Teins but I haven't gotten an alignment yet because I wanted the springs to settle first. When I get the alignment done I'll let you guys know what specs they come up with.
How much of a drop does the Nismo have. If it is as much as the tein springs, then there is no reason the car can not be put back in spec. There is no way nissan would warranty everything if it didn't.
