Default question for the Tein basic owners.

Sup..

Have any of you lowered your rear as far as the adjustment plates would go?
I did, and to me, this still isn't low enough IMO. I was wondering if your adjustment plates made contact with the base of your orange adjustment piece or not. Mine seem to stop 3mm short or so.

Any input is much appreciated. Pictures are worth a thousand words!

Thank you!
Jon

Tein puts in thousands of dollars of research. I am sure any lower would impact the camber and the geometry of the suspension. Speaking from suspension experience with my Type-R I hugely improved handling when I went to the track by raising my "street look height" about an inch. I had the car corner balanced and then marked the coilover for track-use and for lookin good.

Thanks for the input. I understand that slamming my car will definitely take me out of factory alignment specs...but I wanted to worry about buying the proper adjustment kits *after* I got my ride height to where I wanted it.

The 350z is my daily driver. I don't really hit the tracks...so I'm more into making this Z look nice rolling around town

hehe agreed. The Z's historically have like 1.1 degree of negative camber from the factory anyway what's another 2 degrees?!? (Mostly joking...I know a degree makes a huge difference)
