I was engaged in a speed contest (lol) against my buddies S2 SRT-4 last night and the only reason we took the race so long is because it was so close. Now granted I have to get some kind of unfair advantage like starting first or something for it to be close, but fun nonetheless. We got up to roughly 135 and I've read that its better to give hard brake for a short time then soft brake for a long time, so I gave it a nice tap. I find out later that sparks were coming off of my brakes hardcore. Could it be because the brake pads I have are semi-metallic?
