I would just like to get some feedback if you feel this is a worthwhile upgrade. I do have 45,000 miles on the car and some new rotors would probably be a good idea. I am looking for less fade and a better pedal feel/modulation. I will probably do 1 or 2 light track events a year and lots of aggressive driving on twisty backroads.

 

The rotors are nice and light compared with stock.

The drilled rotors reduce the surface area way too much, and are not effective at the track.

The Hawk HPS are good for wear, and break dust. They also don't grab at low speeds, but they do not bite hard, even when warmed up. At hard track use, my HPS' began to chunk off into the drills in my StopTech's. I would recommend a HP Plus pad in the front if you don't mind wear.

The StopTech rotors for this package are also unpainted, so they eventually turn an orange-brown color on the rotor hat (mine atleast).

I recommend the racingbrake upgrade.. 1700 f+r

 

Definetly is worth it for the amazingly inexpensive price. Brake feel is much more linear without the fierce initial bite and then fade the stock setup provides. I would go with slotted rotors as cross drilled seems less effective. I purchased it because I toasted my stock setup on a high speed run... I have yet to have an issue with the StopTech stage 2 setup. Now I just need to get my damn e-brake fixed. :/

Hawk HPS is NOT a track pad...nor is Axxis Ultimate. HP+ is insufficient as well on the front for track use. If you take the car on a roadcourse, make sure you get a set of proper race pads to swap in.
